We are hiring on behalf of a leading banking / financial services institution for the position of Relationship Manager â Banking Sales based in Shapar, Rajkot, Gujarat. The company is looking for a dynamic and result-driven professional with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in banking sales to manage client relationships, promote banking products, and achieve sales targets. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in retail banking, loan sales, insurance cross-selling, or liability products. A minimum graduation degree is compulsory, and the salary will be discussed based on experience and performance during the interview.
đ Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of banking clients by building strong relationships, understanding their financial needs, and offering suitable banking products and services.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for banking products such as savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, loans (personal, home, business, vehicle), credit cards, and insurance products.
Acquire new customers through field sales, cold calling, referrals, corporate tie-ups, local networking, and market visits in the Shapar-Rajkot region.
Cross-sell and up-sell banking and financial products to existing customers to maximize revenue and deepen customer relationships.
Conduct customer meetings and presentations to explain product features, benefits, interest rates, terms, and eligibility criteria.
Process loan applications, account opening forms, and KYC documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations.
Provide excellent after-sales service by resolving customer complaints, queries, and service requests in a timely manner.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and improve sales strategies.
Maintain a detailed MIS (Management Information System) of daily sales activities, lead pipeline, client interactions, and conversion reports.
Coordinate with the branch operations team, credit department, and back-office for smooth processing and disbursement of products.
Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and internal company policies.
Attend daily sales huddles, weekly review meetings, and training sessions to stay updated on new products and sales techniques.
đ¯ Skills & Qualifications Required
Minimum Graduation from a recognized university (Compulsory â Non-negotiable).
2 to 3 years of proven experience in banking sales â Retail Banking, Loan Sales, Liability Products, Credit Cards, Insurance Cross-selling, or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of banking products â Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, FDs, RDs, Personal Loans, Home Loans, Business Loans, Vehicle Loans, Credit Cards, Insurance, and Mutual Funds.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills â Ability to pitch products, handle objections, and close deals effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
Customer relationship management skills â Ability to build trust, retain clients, and manage long-term relationships.
Target-oriented and self-motivated â Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of KYC/AML compliance, RBI guidelines, and banking documentation processes.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and banking CRM software.
Valid two-wheeler with driving license for field sales visits is preferred.
Candidates with existing banking networks in the Rajkot / Shapar area will be given preference.
