QC Chemist – Quality Control Chemist

📌 Job Overview
We are hiring on behalf of a reputed manufacturing company located on Muli Road, Surendranagar, Gujarat. The organization is seeking a skilled and experienced QC Chemist (Quality Control Chemist) to join their quality assurance laboratory team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in quality control testing, chemical analysis, and laboratory operations. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive salary ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month based on experience and skills.

📋 Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, intermediate products, and finished goods as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct chemical and instrumental analysis using techniques such as titration, spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC, pH testing, moisture analysis, and other relevant methods.
Ensure all products meet quality specifications, industry standards, and regulatory compliance requirements before dispatch.
Prepare and standardize chemical reagents, solutions, and standards required for daily laboratory testing.
Document and maintain accurate test records, analytical reports, lab registers, and quality certificates.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Identify and report out-of-specification (OOS) results, non-conformances, and deviations to the QC Manager for corrective action.
Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards in the laboratory.
Assist in method validation, stability studies, and process improvement initiatives as directed by the quality team.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and R&D teams to ensure timely testing and release of materials.
Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of the QC laboratory at all times.
Participate in internal and external audits, including ISO, NABL, and other regulatory audits as required.

🎯 Skills & Qualifications Required
1 to 2 years of experience as a QC Chemist, Lab Chemist, or Quality Control Analyst in a chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or FMCG company.
Strong knowledge of analytical testing techniques – Titration, pH Meter, Moisture Analyzer, Spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC, etc.
Understanding of quality standards – ISO 9001, GLP, GMP, NABL, and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in documentation – Preparing COA (Certificate of Analysis), test reports, SOPs, and maintaining lab records.
Knowledge of raw material testing, in-process checks, and finished goods analysis.
Basic computer skills – MS Office (Excel, Word) for report preparation and data entry.
Good communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and basic English.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and follow strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
